BELGIAN-LUXEMBOURG COOPERATION FOR TNC27
Restena and Belnet are joining forces to host TNC27, the GÉANT Association conference bringing together each year over 900 members of the research and education network community across the European continent and beyond. A first for the conference organisation, this configuration highlights the spirit of collaboration between the GÉANT members and the strong ties that have always bound Luxembourg and Belgium together. TNC27 will take place less than 200 kilometers from the Luxembourg border, from Monday 7 June to Friday 11 June 2027, in the city of Liège (Belgium). Read more
GERMANY, GREECE, IRELAND AND LUXEMBOURG UNITE TO ESTABLISH QUANTUM-SECURE NETWORK
The European TransEuroOGS ‘Trans-European Network of Optical Ground Stations for Interconnecting the Space and Terrestrial Segment of EuroQCI’ project – launched in June 2026 and within which Restena is one of the Luxembourg partners – aims to establish a network of interoperable optical ground stations for satellite-based quantum-secure communication across Germany, Greece, Ireland and Luxembourg. A NEW SYSTEM COMPATIBLE WITH EDUID LUXEMBOURG FOR HOSTING APPLICATIONS
Research and education institutions in Luxembourg renting virtual servers from Restena now benefit from a new system with enhanced security and taken in charge by eduID Luxembourg, the authentication and access authorisation service for websites. Read more
A NEW WEB INTERFACE TO MANAGE EMAILS
Staff working in the education and research sectors whose professional email messaging is hosted by Restena can now read, manage and compose their email within a brand new interface. More modern and more intuitive, the Webmail interface remains sovereign and open-source. Read more
